Meet Michelle

A Balanced, Student-Centered Approach

College admissions is not about finding a single “right” school, it’s about building a list that reflects academic readiness, institutional priorities, and personal fit.  My role is to help students present themselves coherently and confidently, while helping families stay grounded throughout a process that can otherwise become overwhelming.

With over 15 years experience in both high school counseling and college admissions in Westchester County, New York, I am uniquely qualified to help students build a strategic, balanced application plan that reduces stress and maximizes fit.

Who I Work Best With

I typically work with families who:

  • Have academically capable students who feel overwhelmed by the process

  • Want a clear plan and structured timeline

  • Are applying to a range of competitive colleges

  • Value calm, proactive guidance over last-minute scrambling

  • Students with complex stories (transfers, ADHD, non-linear paths, niche passions)

This may not be the right fit for families who:

  • Are looking for last-minute or emergency-only support

  • Prefer a highly aggressive or rankings-only approach

Please note that I do not work with students from the Somers Central School District due to my professional role.

Next Steps

I offer a limited number of introductory consultations.

These conversations are designed to assess fit, clarify priorities, and determine whether structured guidance would be beneficial.

Consultations are informational and not a commitment.
